Galleries and collections of art

region. And "mini-galleries" are everywhere.
Wandering through America's Wild Rivers Coast we continue
to be amazed at the abundance of
mini-galleries in restaurants, motel lobbies, gift shops,
ice cream parlors, and the like. The stone carving in
a display case, stained glass in the window, the myrtlewood
sculpture centerpiece, the collection of oils and
photographs adorning the walls, are all likely the works of
local artists. They're placed for interest, enjoyment, and
for artist
recognition.
