"Simply Spectacular!"  Are the words attempting to describe the experience awaiting at Trees of Mystery.  Giant statues of Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox greet you in the parking lot, and serve as a man made attention getter.  But once inside, tribute to one of the world's natural wonders, giant redwood trees, takes over.

Allow yourself to be surrounded and protected by the enormity, and pure natural beauty of giant redwoods.  It will be near impossible not to feel the man-made stresses and strains of the world, slowly melt away.

Follow interpretive trails in and out, up and down among these gentle giants. Unusual trees are given names like "The Cathedral Tree" for its unusual canopy beneath which weddings take place.

Do not miss "The Sky Trail", an enclosed 4 seat gondola, the envy of any luxury ski resort.  It will take you soaring to, through, and above, the redwood forest to an observation deck with views over the trees to the Pacific.  Feel the excitement grow as the tram slowly raises you 571 feet above the trail below.  The 360 degree vistas from the interpretive deck are a fitting climax to an incredible buildup journey.

The trip down and trail take a different route back leading to a first class, top quality, gift shop and also to the "End of the Trail Museum.  It is truly one of the most amazing collections of Native American Indian artifacts anywhere.

Owner, Maylee Thompson and her family have been dedicated to collecting, dreaming and developing this world class attraction for more than 40 years.  And it shows!

Trees of Mystery is without doubt, thrilling, entertaining, enjoyable and educational.  A not to be missed Wild Rivers Coast destination for individuals and families alike.
